Acting for screen, whether tv or film, demands a specific skill set. Being authentic and realistic is key.
Here at Firefly Screen Acting Academy, we are offer online classes to teach emerging talent in this particular art of acting for screen, which can be a stand alone skill, or can be in addition to other styles of acting such as stage and musical theatre.
Our classes are capped at a maximum of 12 students per class, to ensure a more personalised learning experience, allowing for greater individual attention, improved engagement and a deeper understanding of the material.
We train our students online to produce this authentic and realistic acting style, to learn how to break down a character and find the truth in them.
If you are serious about acting for TV and film, we would love to help equip and hone your craft to make you stand out to industry professionals, agents and casting directors.

All classes will be held online via Zoom.
Our next term starts on W/C 8th September 2025.
The term will run for 12 weeks until the W/C 1st December with a break for half-term on the W/C 27th October

Here at Firefly Screen Acting Academy we provide industry professional inside knowledge, tips, and techniques specifically for Screen Acting.
Techniques & Skills
Including framing, lighting, character development, reading and analysis of scripts, self-tapes, audition techniques and more for Film&TV.
Positive & Constructive Feedback
We create a safe and positive environment for emerging actors to feel comfortable and practice their skills, with each class member being given constructive feedback to encourage and improve.
Our Founder
Firefly Screen Acting Academy has been newly founded by Daisy Gill in 2024. Daisy wanted to create more opportunities for actors to train specifically in acting for screen, which requires very different skills and style to theatre and musical theatre.
Firefly has been created to be a positive and fun way to train professionally in screen acting. Equipping young aspiring actors with the right techniques for TV and film acting, along with a wealth of inside knowledge.
Daisy has a wealth of experience in the industry, starting her career at age 11 by signing to her first agency. Since then, she has gained experience acting on set, in a studio and on location. Daisy starred in a brand film that aired on all Sky Channels for almost a year, she writes and produces short films and more. She is a member of Equity, currently represented by Daisy&Dukes and is a working actress, regularly self taping and auditioning.
Daisy is currently training with Mark Jermin Management and has been for 2 years, she has also trained at Sylvia Youngs, LeBlanc School of Acting, HB Studio in New York and Bodens Performing Arts, besides more. Daisy has participated in numerous workshops with Casting Directors such as Rob Kelly and more. She was awarded a Distinction in grade 8 LAMDA.
Daisy is currently training in Film Studies, English Literature and RSL Acting.
